Workshop Help

If you have some workshop projects, I have some easy ideas that will help you get through those projects quickly and safely!

Whether you're sanding, sawing or drilling you'll encounter a lot of dust. Keep yourself safe by wearing some tight fitting latex gloves for a non-slip grip on those power tools.

Along those same lines, make sure that you wear shoes with rubber soles and good treads for steady footing.

When using a circular saw, make sure that you set the blade depth a quarter of an inch deeper than the surface that you're cutting so your saw doesn't jump back at you.

Another circular saw tip, make sure that the blade has reached full speed before you touch it to the wood and that you clear the wood before stopping the blade.
