Lighting Options

If you're looking for some extra light in your kitchen or a dark closet but you're not into wiring, I have some items that may be just what you need.

Touch lights that run on batteries are great for dark corners and tight spaces. Hang one in your dark closet, a dimly lit stairwell, or under your kitchen cabinets for some extra light anytime. Some models even have a glow in the dark locator so they're easy to find in the middle of the night. Another similar option, mini fluorescent lights. They also run on "AA" batteries and mount with self-adhesive velcro squares. Both options are great for tight spaces with no outlets.

If you do have an outlet available, why not try a plug-in fluorescent. It will give off more light than the small battery operated lights, but still doesn't involve any wiring.

If you're looking for a way to save money with your existing lighting, replace your 75-watt incandescent bulb with a twenty-watt fluorescent bulb. Over the life of the bulb you could save up to 50 dollars on your electricity bills!
